W najnowszym wydaniu amerykańskiego magazynu „The GIS Professional” (styczeń – luty 2012) wydawanego przez Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) znalazł się artykuł „Using a Geographical Information System as a Platform to Integrate Local Strategies in Kielce, Poland”. W artykule opisano Miejski System Informacji Przestrzennej w UM Kielce, w którego tworzenie w charakterze konsutantów zaangażowana była firma 24GIS.
